I have been to see Mia quite a few times, always satisfied. I also went to see her before heading to Mexico on vacation. I, for the entire week prior, had such intense back pain. With two treatments from Mia and some herbs to help my back stop spasming, I was fully good to go for vacation. Mia is extremely understanding and is highly focused on tailoring a solution just for you. She has a very easy way about her and is sure to make you feel at ease as soon as you walk in the door. Huge fan :-)
I had never been to an acupuncturist before and have always been afraid of needles. I had been wanting to try it out as I have am a big believer in alternative healing methods and see a chiropractor regularly. At my first appointment Mia spent a long time talking with me about my health history, my diet and my goals for care. I felt there was a reason why I never sought out an acupuncturist before--I was meant to work with Mia! I see Mia every week to two weeks and each visit keeps getting better. She lets me know how I am doing and what work still needs to be done. She is thoughtful and sensitive to the body in its entirety lending advice on diet, emotions, and stress. I leave feeling relaxed, grounded and clear about where I am and where I want to be in terms of my health.
